Lindsey Lee Lair, MD, MBA, FAAN, currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Development at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. With a strong foundation in clinical research, she possesses a wealth of expertise in medical and scientific strategy that is essential for ensuring successful product development and commercialization on a global scale. Lindsey excels at distilling complex data sets into actionable insights, ultimately adding significant value and driving results that align with targeted objectives. She has garnered extensive experience in matrix management and engaging with scientific leaders to foster collaboration.
Her global experience spans supporting early to late-phase clinical development as well as managing in-line therapies. Lindsey has demonstrated exceptional launch excellence by playing a pivotal role in the successful launches of Ponvory and Belsomra. She adopts a flexible and agile mindset, leveraging her pharmaceutical experience across various domains, including pain management and a broad spectrum of neurological fields, immunology, psychiatry, anesthesia, and respiratory health.
Throughout her career, she has been the recipient of numerous awards, all selected by her colleagues and managers as a testament to her outstanding contributions. Lindsey is a Board-Certified Neurologist and Autonomic Specialist, showcasing proven leadership expertise that extends beyond a singular therapeutic area. She obtained her MBA from LSU in Shreveport, further enhancing her qualifications. Additionally, she was elected as a prestigious Fellow Member of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and selected for the AAN Women in Advanced Leadership Program, as well as the Women’s Leadership Program at Simmons School of Management. As a mentor in the AAN Advocacy Leadership Forum, she has also contributed to healthcare policy discussions in Congress as a founding member of the AAN Political Action Committee. Furthermore, Lindsey holds a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NY Medical College, where she teaches bioethics.
